The truth about simple truths

We are in constant search for truth. But what happens when we find ourselves facing two seemingly contradicting truths? How do we reconcile the fact that we are doing our best but also desire to do better?

Simplicity sells. Basic is easy. But life doesn’t care about our desire for a straightforward narrative.

The reality is that truth is often colored by influence. Even our most absolute truths are vulnerable to outside forces. If I were to hold a ball from shoulder height and let go, it will hit the ground. This is indisputable. Unless, of course, someone were to reach out and catch the ball before it hits the ground. Does this invalidate the law of gravity? Of course not. But we placed our biases and expectations above potential environmental changes.

We want fitness and simultaneously want to eat unbridled. We want more money and more work-life balance.

There will always be exceptions to our rules. And there might be two opposing versions of our ultimate truths. The key is to prioritize and do our best. But always be aware that we still need to get better.
